btw its easier to release them by sticking a screw driver into the lock from the back side and separating the locking bar from the tie but if you can do that you can probably cut them.
good for a shitty hardware store zip tie, but the ones used for restraint dont work that way.
Regular hardware zipties I can break by accident. (Done it) If the badguy is smart, and got the panduit ties from the HVAC section, those are much much tougher. And actual flex cuffs, Hah.

Was going to say I don't think you are snapping flex cuffs. I bet if I used heavy 250lb zip ties you'd have trouble too
