Now Turkey has shot down a Russian plane.

I'm sure that won't complicate things.

By the way, if you watch some of the combat footage on youtube, the comments are very interesting. A lot of people around the world believe that the U.S. created ISIS.

They believe that because they look at history by only going back about 16 years, to President Bush. President Obama has done a good job in making everything, even radical Islamic terrorism, Bush's fault. It also shows just how indoctrinated, lazy, and unable to perform critical thinking much of the world is.

I believe Obama is credited with forming/allowing ISIS to form. They were never heard of, as a group, until the Obama Administration took over things in the ME and totally screwed it all up. The vacuum left, by Obama's inept policies, allowed them to form and grow.

Hell, he was/is supplying them with arms to overthrow Assad.

Actually, Obama is siding with Iran and Iran is using ISIS to do its dirty work over there.

This whole ME crisis rests squarely on Obama's shoulders.

He's got a wonderful legacy going so far.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that Turkey’s decision to shoot down a Russian warplane near Turkey's border with Syria is a "stab in the back" and it would have “significant consequences” for its relations with Turkey, as NATO called an emergency meeting over the incident.

I wonder what the facts are here, like was the jet actually inside Turkish airspace or was this just Turkey helping out their tools in Syria, aka isis?
Most arms and funds get to isis via Turkey. Erdogan, Turkey's muslim dictator, is the father of the man who heads the oil company selling isis oil to the world, isis steals Iraqi oil and then trucks it to Turkey. Erdogan also seeks to reinvent the ottoman empire (muslim takeover of middle east and Europe) with him as its caliph. I'm afraid the shtf on this one.

There was a radar track of the jets flight path on one of the reports I read that showed it inside Turkey. That said, I am not sure which story to trust. Russia has shown a willingness to violate other countries sovereignty recently and Turkey is aligned against President Assad. Neither positions fills me with much confidence that they are telling us what actually happened.

I just read a thing on how turkmen in Syria shot the aircrew in the air as they came down in their chutes. Also, apparently the crashed plane and crew are in Syria, not Turkey. I don't think Putin can let this one slide, they already lost a airliner full of their own.

"The General staff is currently exploring additional measures to ensure the security of the Russian air base.

First: all actions of strike aircraft will be implemented only under cover of fighter aircraft.

Second, measures will be taken to strengthen the air defense. To this end, the Cruiser "Moskva" equipped with the AIR DEFENSE system, "Fort", similar to the C-300, will occupy the coastal district of Latakia. We warn that all targets representing potential dangers to us will be destroyed

We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

Short of the weapon to end all weapons, which would also ruin it for all of us, carpet bombing the region where the F111 copy went down would be nice.

Would not be surprised to see Russia "annex" the southern tip of Turkey.

From what I've seen the chopper was on the ground from being hit by small arms fire, they spent a tow on a damaged bird.

Maybe they'll send hinds next time.
