We forgot to remember a great Ship lost on 10 November, 1975.
I was looking over old Videos on www.youtube.com and saw Gordon Lightfoots The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald. I looked over the Gen. Discussion and did not find any Postings. I wanted to mention the Ship. I was in Basic Training at Ft. Knox when she Sunk. I don't remember her, but I can never forget the Song. If anyone can post the Video here for Folks who have never heard the 1976 Song. Please do. I guess she went down in Lake Michigan or one of them. Paul

After today, it's all historical.
That was White Fish Bay they were 15 Miles away when the Ship went down. Sad don't know what they were doing out in that Weather knowing how the Great Lakes were.

I see in the linked web site that the bell was recovered and clened and a new bell with the 29 names of the crew was put back in it's place on the wreck.
I posted this in the "What are you listening to" thread on the 10th of November. Not the GL version, but an interesting cover.
