Saw this the other day, can't remember where, but a company is coming out with a new polymer cased pistol ammo for 9mm, .40, .45acp, and I believe .38 special. The base and rim are metal the rest of the casing is polymer. One thing they state is you can reload them multiple times with just a priming tool and powder measure, the bullets have a shoulder so they can be seated by hand.

Initial Success or Total Failure
The liberal media just about had apoplexy when the first "plastic gun" came out. Plastic ammunition will most certainly give them a stroke. It sounds interesting. I look forward to your posts about your future experience with it.
Don't know if many of you remember, but there was a bunch of polymer cased .223/5.56 available quite a few years ago. It shot well and, I still have a pile of it
