Very nice, congratulations! I believe that variation is referred to as " The Sporter".

    Starts tomorrow at 10:00

    Parking was a bitch!

More stuff than guns except ARs. The same guy has a Maadi thumbhole, but wanted $700 for it. Very little for AKs there. There was a lot of nice accessories.

nice find. I like Chinese SKS. Something about them. They resonate better with me then the Russian ones. Something we haven't had in a while is shooting videos.

I've seen that model before before. Would of come in before 1994 when Clinton banned Chicom imported weapons and ammo because China are such mean old human rights violators. Aside from that couldn't tellyou what variant it might be.

It is a "SKS Sporter" dated '93. I found two of them on Gunbroker at $750 and $799....

If you could get it home, chinese SKS go for $300 CDN for a Brand New one here. It is unfortunate how gun laws make things otherwise common as dogshit become collectable and rare. Imposing baseball card type pricing system.

I have the exact one. Though mine is not NIB! I think that I paid around 300.00 for mine some years ago. Great find!

I have the Paratrooper Model (same as yours but without the thumbhole stock). I'd never fired it before. Took it out the other weekend and put it through its paces. It functioned flawlessly. A little hard getting the mag inserted, but not too bad.

    Great gun!
