This whole courtroom fiasco could have been avoided if the father had followed Teddy R.'s saying, "Speak softly and carry a big stick."

Since it was apparent the judge wasn't going to do anything, the father should have waited and caught the perp outside some night and beat the shit out of him with a big, heavy stick.

Sometimes, justice has to be served outside of the courtroom. There's a time and place for everything, and it wasn't in that courtroom.

I didn't catch in the story how much time the perv got. I did see however the first comment to the story is the judges full name and address. This bullshit is just a sign of the times. Soon pedophiles will be forced on everyone like fruits are now.

That's what worries me! It's all part of this "P.C." garbage.

While I understand the father's reaction the best course of action for him was to not be in the courtroom for his daughter's testimony. I can't even begin to comprehend what he went through and how angry he is, but his outburst could prevent the accused for getting a fair trial.

As for the daughter's testimony I am surprised the judge did not have it video taped and shown instead of having that young child testify in open court. It is too easy for the defense attorney to do exactly what he appeared to do, frighten the child to make her testimony seem incoherent. In cases such as this I think the defense attorney, before trying the case, should be required to allow the accused to babysit the lawyer's children for a few days so he/she can determine the proper defense to mount.

Here's why the charges were dropped:

Three felony child sex abuse charges were dismissed against former McAlester police Lt. Martin Stites on Monday in a contentious court hearing.
Child molesters need to be disappeared.
