Some of our board members are "forced" to be Democrats because of local politics, and are therefore restricted to voting in the Democratic primaries in their states. They may inted on voting Republican in the general election, but are voting Hillary in the primary for strategic reasons.

Either that or someone out there actually likes Hillary.

As the primaries are for the parties to decide who they want to nominate I only think those who are registered for that party should be able to vote. This does not prevent the rest of us who do not associate with a party to vote for who we want to represent us. It makes no sense to me that my state allows me, an independent, to determine who the Republicans or Democrats (or any other party for that matter) nominate. Allowing this can, and has, resulted in the opposing party pushing candidates who are not as strong so that their candidate will be more likely to win.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.
