Performance was no different with the new bolt (sucked). The cartridges were not feeding well and would get pinched half way up the feed ramp. The weird thing is that it functioned flawlessly upside-down. I just now polished the feed ramp and hand-cycled it with the old bolt and new extractor - it hand cycles great and launches the cartridges a good 10+ feet. I am not keeping my hopes up for the live fire testing.

So did you ever shoot it after this polishing work?

Thanks for the links. Figures that S/A bolts start popping out after I plopped down a chunk of change on one.

So did you ever shoot it after this polishing work?

I have not had the chance to test fire it again yet. I'm actually not looking forward to it because I know I will just be disappointed again, haha.

Then again maybe you wont be. All firearms are just machines and just about any machine can be analyzed, corrected and fixed.
