    Former Member "Chipmunk" Passed.

    I got a message last night that a former Member Chipmunk passed away. He was one of the Virginia Guys that came to the WV shoots, and met up with him a few times at Potts Slope Mountain Range.

    Mountain Survivor sent me the message. He was a friend of a friend so to speak. Hung around the C&R page years ago. Friends with Freedom One as well.

    Richard knows him as well. Regretfully I didn't know him too well. But wanted to pass on the information.

    There was a great group of us that met up at Potts Slope. I am honored to still call some of the guys friends.

    We had our nick names as "the Slopers."

    David called me last night and gave me the news. We hadn't gotten together for ages but I was sure surprised to hear of his passing.

    I remember the name but can't put a face to it. BTW did they say what he passed away from?

    Chip was suffering from copd and was on dialysis. His sister told me that he fell at home after being released from a rehabilitation center and that they found him a couple of days later. He was one hell of a good guy and always had a smile on his face. I agree Paul, we need to get together sometime this year.

    IIIRC the last time we were at The Slope was in April a few years ago. Maybe we should try that again this month?

    Freedom One (Mike) made that. There are some shots in there from the first time that I met up with some of the guys from Virginia. At Potts Slope. Which was actually the inspiration for the WV Shoots.
