$800 in tax stamps in 2 days

Got my trust finalized on Monday, thanks to an earlier thread and also the upcoming law change I finally got off my butt and got the NFA ball rolling.

Electronically filed my Form 1 yesterday for an SBR AR-15 lower, got it back from engraving today, now just waiting for the stamp.

    I also ordered 3 suppressors
    Sig Sauer SRD762Ti-QD

    AAC Ti-RANT 45M

    Tactical Solutions Axiom 22lr

So very cool! I'm looking forward to when you actually get and are able to shoot them.

For the 30 cal can I knew I wanted something rated for 300 win mag, that limited me to a handful of cans, the sig was one of the lightest and really liked the attachment system.

For the 45 I wanted something that I could disassemble, I was looking at a couple others then I saw the Ti-RANT 45m, I talked to the guys at silencer shop and they said it was one of the quietest cans they have used. I'm still not sure about the removeable extension thing but I think it could be nice for 380 or 9mm for a lighter package.

The 22 can I was not really picky about, there were a couple good cans available, I was down to this one and the tacsol ascent, which is smaller and lighter but the axiom is rated for 5.7mm and full auto so I figured might as well get the more robust can.

You're a much richer man than I. Also much less wary of paperwork apparently.

My threaded barrel for my Sig 1911 tac-ops came in today, I was dreading it would require fitting beyond my skill level, but it was a direct drop in. Tapped in the link and pin, reassembled, cycled it about 100 times with some oil and its smooth as butter, ate four magazines with out a hitch. Thanks Sig for the always high quality.

Yeah, I picked them up last Christmas while vz grips was having a sale on them, they are the operator 2 grips, and figured I would add some color to the gun.

    Congrats!

Stamp collecting can be expensive, and addictive. Once you get the first one you're on the list and there really isn't any reason to stop with 1 ... 2 ... or 22 ... You realize next to all the really fun toys are NFA!

Got an email today, the atf has cashed my first check for the sig suppressor, and my 22 can came in and the paper work was sent off. Also ordered a direct thread 9mm can for my sig mpx, bowers vers 9s, rated for full auto 9mm and can also handle 300 blackout sub and super sonic.

I think it may depend on the area/agent you have ... I have a Form1 for an SBR, pending since 3/17 that I haven't heard anything about yet.

Do you recommend talking to the guys at silencer shop? I am still on the fence about what kind of cans I would like to purchase. Plus it appears that the choices are endless.
