The trigger on mine isn't as bad as I'd have thought. Back when all the reviews panned the trigger pull. Mine is long and double action heavy, but smooth and managable for a pocket pistol. I've shot much worse... The break, while not target grade is crisp for what it is.

The trigger isn't bad as far as creep or not breaking smoothly, it just takes a LOT of force to pull it. My wife can't pull the trigger with one (index) finger. I told her "if you were facing a bad guy you could pull that trigger - the adrenaline would do it".
Only downside (which of course is not it's fault) is that it only holds 5+1 rounds.
I wanted a tiny "pocket pistol", but I didn't want a wimpy .380 and all the 9mm models seemed to be plastic. The guy at the gun store showed me the AMT (new-old stock) and it was perfect. Small and packing a .45 caliber punch. I bought it right then and there (along with a few extra mags).
Too bad it doesn't latch the mas the way a 1911 does... if you've noticed the AMT mag is a 1911 mag cut down shorter. It would be nice to be able to stick a 1911 mag in there (for target shooting and practice) and have a few more shots available.
If you look carefully at my photo, you will see that the trigger pin is a spring roll pin. The original "dowel pin" always seemed to creep out, and I didn't want to risk damaging the frame by trying to stake the pin in place, so I replaced it with the roll pin (and was sure to put the "gap side" of the pin away from where the trigger load is).

It is a heavier pull than my SW 4506 is in DA... and every Sig I have has a better trigger all the way around.

Hey, does anyone know where I can get a couple mags for less than $39.95?
Why is it the smaller the mag the more they cost?
