It is rediculous that these cops were charged in the first place. Glad to hear that one was not convicted. Still more to go.
I think his best move was deciding to be tried by a judge vice by a jury. Trying to find an impartial jury in Baltimore concerning this incident is almost impossible, especially if you have a "racially diverse" jury. To many people had already decided that the only way for justice to be served was to find the officers guilty no matter what the facts showed.

Ok so here goes. Fred had, in the past, sued the city and won a case of police brutality so there's your modus operandi. He was alone in his compartment in that van he was injured in, but someone was in an adjoining compartment, and that someone testified he heard Fred trying to hurt himself by throwing himself against the compartment walls. Apparently, Fred tried a bit too hard to hurt himself and separated his skull from his spine internally.

Turnabout is fair play:
Two of the cops who have been charged in the death of Freddy Gray are, now, suing the State's Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, a Baltimore's Sheriff's Office Major, and the State of MD, for defamation of character based on her racially charged comments she made to a group of Black Lies Matter rioters after the arrest of the 6 police officers for various trumped up charges.

Judge in Freddie Gray case finds prosecutors withheld important evidence that could help the defense. This is an illegal move on the prosecutor's part.
The judge has given the prosecutor until Monday to turn over ANY other evidence that could help the defense.

From the sounds of this, it doesn't look good for the prosecutor's case against this police officer. I have an idea this officer will be found not guilty, also.
