    Thumbs up New Buck 106

Back in December our club offered a Buck 106 based on the newer Compadre Camp Axe which is part of the Buck Compadre series, http://www.buckknives.com/knives/recreation/ and the Buck Brahma 119 http://www.buckknives.com/product/br...fe/0119BRS1-B/.

It finally arrived yesterday and I'm quite pleased. It's my first and only hatchet, Buck or otherwise and I think it compliments my Brahma quite nicely. Buck also offers a Brahma 117 that I need to add to my shopping list http://www.buckknives.com/product/br...fe/0119BRS1-B/.

The only difference between the three is that the 106 axe is a BCCI exclusive for club members only so if you want all three models you will find the axe to be much harder to acquire.

The knife looks like a KBAR. The axe looks pretty cool.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

That's a really neat pair of Buck products. Wasn't aware they delved into hatchets.

Odd that it has been so long. I've purchased 2 Bucks over the years but never saw a hatchet in the display cases. Probably would of picked one up if I had.
