Still trying to understand the ones who voted for the anti-gun bills. An Islamic radical shoots up a bunch of unarmed honest citizens, so they want to inhibit gun ownership of honest citizens.

We need to figure out how these buffoons in the senate keep getting elected when everything they do is anti-freedom. I guess freedom is too hard for some people. Wish they would just leave the greatest most free country in the history of the world for their utopia elsewhere.

ok, ill be the asshole of the internet, but (if what i heard was true) i thought one sounded like a good compromise.

what ive heard, one of the bills shot down, stated that if, during the NICS check, if the person was found to be on the terror watch list, the purchase would be delayed 72 hours, in which time, if the fbi came back with probable cause to deny the application within that time, thay are denied, otherwse the sale goes through.

the terror watch list is flawed and no one on the list has been given due process, so i am againt using it as a blind litmus test, and i hate the idea of ANY legislature, because we all know its a "death by 1000 paper cuts" scenario and we dont want to budge an inch, but this seems like a common sense measure.

again, granted, that was what i heard reported, and may not have been what the bill said (fucking news media) but on its face sounds fine.

I've said this a million times, so one more among friends can't hurt. Why oh why don't they just make murder illegal? If they did, there would be no need for NICS since a firearm or any other weapon would not be used to take another's life, since doing so would be illegal. Dripping with sarcasm.
