Gun shop owners busted under stupid NY "Safe" Act

    (click for story)
Henrietta [Rochester, NY] gun store violated SAFE Act, state says.

A local gun store illegally sold more than 100 "assault rifles" after the state's SAFE Act measures became law, the state Attorney General's Office and the State Police are alleging.
Kordell Jackson, who previously owned Jackson Guns and Ammo in Henrietta, and two of his former employees have been charged with state firearms violations, according to a statement from Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and State Police Superintendent George Beach.

Wonderful. An ordinary gun store, selling ordinary rifles that are legal in most every state in the US, is facing multiple felony counts due to the absurd NY "Safe" act.

Just who, may I ask, is being made "safe"?

    FUCKING IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!

Scummy socialist / communist Politicians is who's being made safer by the safe act. My 2 cents is all anti-gun bills are anti revolution ruling elite safety acts. All designed to prevent them from being put down when they finally decide to stop pretending that we have a Constitution or any rights at all!

Why, the enemies of America of course.

This should go to scrotus, and get a firm reading of the 2nd, like it needs one. Infringed is a easy word to understand.

Last week I went to a wedding in Virginia. As I was driving through the beautiful mountains and scenery of West Virginia a thought popped into my head that really pissed me off. I realized "I'm in free country now!... I could buy an AR-15, a Beta-C drum, an AK-47, anything I want and not have to worry about the seller cancelling my order or some idiotic felony charges for doing nothing more than having fun shooting targets on a summer weekend".

The thought of having to go back to NY almost made me sick.

Long story short, 32 years ago when I asked my (now deceased) father-in-law to marry his daughter, he asked me if I would "take care of his wife when he was gone". Nobody knew it yet (except him), but he had terminal cancer and didn't last too much longer.

Anyway, I have to honor my promise, so here I am still in NY. Most guys hate their mother-in-law, but mine is the nicest, sweetest most elegant lady I've ever known. I can't let her down (or welch on my promise).

Sounds terrible, but when I no longer have that obligation, you may hear a sonic boom. That will be me leaving New York faster than the speed of sound. I won't look back and I'll never go back. I HATE it here!

(at least now I understand the lyrics of John Denver's "Country Roads" song. DAMN it's beautiful there!)

Actually, the SCOTUS just rejected any lawsuits based on gun laws (like NY and CT). At first I thought "Well, I'm fucked until I can get the hell out of here", but then I realized that PROBABLY the conservative judges did that specifically to PREVENT a bad ruling until the new SC judge is appointed.

At least that's what I've read......

In many ways WV is a great State. We now have Constitutional carry at the State level -- even the Democrats are mostly against gun control. The problem with West VA is the economy. We now have a major tax shortfall due to the Obama war on coal.

    An understandable sentiment.
Living in "ObamaLand", I plan on getting out of Illinois in similar fashion except for this retired grade-school teacher parent. My worry is that, at my age, she might out-live me! Her father was a centenarian!

That's what happens when the only armed people willing to pull the trigger are the batshit crazy ones who just shoot unarmed innocents. I just hope if/qhen Shitlery is elected we don't see more of this pacifist horse shit.

The officers then obtained a search warrant for Perkins’ residence and allegedly discovered dozens more illegal high-capacity ammunition feeding devices, four assault rifles, dozens of cartons of untaxed cigarettes, numerous strips of the narcotic Suboxone packaged for resale and approximately $25,000 in cash."
Maybe it had to do with other of their business and firearms were the bonus.

Meanwhile, federal agents responsible for at least one federal officer's death as well as tens of murders involved in fast and furious walk around freely.

I feel for you Roger, it's hard enough just to pick up roots and leave, let alone have a reason like that to stay.
