    The Gray-R-15

Newest build. I picked up a Spike's Tactical gray Cerakoted upper and lower receiver set. I put them in the safe and they morphed into a complete gray-themed rifle. I finished this build a couple of days before the Orlando gay club shooting.

Radical Firearms Nitride mid-length barrel, 5.56 chamber, 1:7 twist with low-pro gas block
ALG Defense EMR V3 M-LOK handguard in gray
Magpul MOE pistol grip in Stealth Gray
Mission First Tactical Battlelink Minimalist stock in gray
Magpul BUIS front/rear sights in gray
    ALG Defense ACT trigger
Seekins Precision bolt catch and magazine release button
Strike Industries polymer dust cover in black (no gray available)
    Troy flash suppressor
    Spike's Tactical T2 buffer
AIM Surplus Nitride bolt carrier group
    Core-15 charging handle
The minor internal parts consist of random parts from my AR parts bin

It will eventually have a Vortex Strikefire II red dot and Seekins Precision ambi safety selector.

Sorry for the junk pics: The actual color shows better without the flash.

    Nice job!
I put the gray magpul furniture on one of mine but it doesn't look that trick.

Looks good but on this laptop it doesn't look overly gray except the furniture.

Thanks, all. It's a nice-handling rifle that weights in at under 6 pounds. The ALG Defense handguard is super-light. For some reason the gray Cerakote is not photo-friendly - it looks darker in photos. It doesn't help that the stock and handguard are a different shade of gray.

I did a quick sight-in/function test at 50 yards and got a fist-sized grouping with the Magpul sights. When I get a red-dot I will stretch it out to 200 yards to confirm the 50/200 zero and I will see how it does. I must say, the clunky plastic Magpul sights are definitely not made for precision shooting!

No, they are Back UP Iron Sights. Though made of plastic. I just can't bring myself to put plastic sights on a rifle. Metal ones are just ridiculously expensive especially when you consider they are investment cast and not milled. Might be some of them are MIMED as well.
