96° F and feels like 101°F ! Too damned hot east of Atlanta, GA today. Hiding in the house now after watering the tomatoes. What are you all experiencing in your areas?

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

84 and a slight breeze. I need rain...

Zucchini 6" long and potatoes flowering.

    First sweet corn knee high.

I got some fresh Kale and radish today for salad.

I have to go to Kings Bay, GA once a year for about 3 days and it is always in the summer. I have not been to Atlanta, except to the airport, but Kings Bay is ugly hot and humid during the summer!

93 and I had to spend the afternoon rescuing kittens out of my wheel well.

Still better than manning the burn barrel all day earlier this week.

I looked up Kings Bay, GA, it is a long way away from me. Too bad, I'd suggest a meet n greet otherwise.

I got to meet up with Funky last year. I had hoped to be close enough to meet up with you but after I looked at the map I didn't even bother sending you a PM as I knew we wouldn't be able to make it work.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'd say that is an easy 6 hour drive away from me. OTOH should you ever fly into Atlanta's AP something might be possible. The AP is 50 to 60 minutes away under good conditions.

It was fun meeting up last year. Everyone on the site still has an open invitation to meet for beer, BBQ, and/or shooting, not necessarily in that order, if you're ever within an hour of Charleston.

82 and partly cloudy today. Not too shabby right now. Cool evening out (I think it's supposed to be around 66 tonight).

Our forecast was a little off in the nighttime temps. It was supposed to be in the mid-60, but went down to 59 instead. Predicted to be around 82 today.

Kind of cool for summer, so far.
