Looking for something under $400. for a 1000rds including shipping.

I have found Tula that was $389. that included shipping.

I'm in the market, don't want soft point. FMJ, corrosive is OK too.

We got Canadian 7.62 NATO surplus up here. I think it is $80 for 125 rounds at the local surplus store. Thats the cheapest around here.

I saw the SGammo deal, but its out of stock.

I use www.gun-deals.com but wanted to know if there some deals that they didn't catch.

I don't know IF I can bring 1K of ammo BACK to Maine. And what would the tax be.

People ask me why I don't go out shooting anymore. When I look at what I paid for the ammo in my vault, and compare it to what it will cost to replace it, I just can't do it.

The good thing is all the new people getting into shooting sports don't remember $140 for a case of South African .308 battle packs.

In all seriousness it is sad how much it costs now. I did just take a look around and it ranges from about 57 cents a round to a buck a round. To think I use to get a whole case of FNM Portuguese for $149 / 1000 round case delivered for a penny a round when I would purchase 10 cases.

I grabbed 500rds of Tula for $170 but forgot to check the shipping until after I placed and paid for the order.
So 500rds of Tula 308 was just over $195. When there is another place that is slightly higher in price but shipping is only $16.00.

I got tunnel vision in the cheaper price and jumped. Oh well it was their last half case anyway. My other purchase will be the "other" place with less shipping.

Then I need some more 30cal cans to store all my linked belts in. Unfortunately I cannot find any more of those "other country" 30cal cans that are actually made for 308 and not 30-06. The 308 on links really fits well and doesn't slide sideways like it does in the American cans. Plus they are made the exact same way just slightly thinner.
My hands are gonna be sore because I don't have a linker.

This thread got me thinking, so I searched gun-deals for .223 ammo (I don't have a 308). I found and bought some Golden Tiger 223 as it was the cheapest 223 out there. I have never shot it but have read good reviews of GT in 7.65 X 39.

Just ordered another 500rds of 308. This time from SGAmmo. And this time saved $10 because their shipping is so much cheaper.
Their price was higher than the last place but I still paid $10 less in the end.
