Ruger American Rifles on clearance. Just picked one up in 30-06 closeout price of 199.00! Only one that they had. Also Marlin 45-70 rifles 250.00 Missed that one by an hour or so. Other ruger calibers on close out are .243, and .308.

I also noticed some shotgun shells on closeout. The other day I got .44 mag 19 bucks a box of 50. Word is that they are clearing out room on the shelves for Henry rifles.

The tag price on the ruger rifles is 385.00 You have to ask them to scan for the sale price!! The manager at wall mart said that rifles were flying off the shelf today. I was lucky to get one. Didn't need it, but my son has been wanting a bolt action in 30-06. Good luck!

The Marlin went for 250.00 Still not bad. Word has it that Savage rifles in .22, .22 mag and .17 hmr are in the 79-99 dollar range. Our local wall mart had them, but I chaperoned the band trip/football game last night. Didn't get back till one, had to be at work at 6. So after a 12 hour day today. My capacities were a little slow. I don't need another rim fire, but for that price. Going to go back. I probably would have gotten the marlin. For kicks and giggles.

Their ammo prices on a lot of stuff lately have been nuts, crap like $19 a box of 45LC.

I went and got one of the Savage .22 rifles for 99.00. Not a huge discount. But you can't go wrong with a .22 for a hundred bucks. They did have a .17 hmr, but it wasn't discounted. Still 199.00. Passed on that. Picked up another two boxes of .44 mag for 19 bucks each.
