canadian leftard antigun hillary defender trump hater

I work with one. A Canadian border services guy (Our TSA) It came up today. We went around the full circle. Because we were both standing there watching the tv that has cbc news playing all the time and the comment trump made about taking hillaries bodyguards guns away was the topic. He brought up banning guns. I stupidly mentioned that the Americans have the second amendment to keep a tyrannical government from doing that. The guy then told me that yahoos owning guns wouldn't be able to do anything if the government really wanted to take over. I thought to myself silently "take over what?!?"
Then I said ISIS is a bunch of yahoos with guns. Then he physically got angry and was vibrating. Almost immediately. He brought up how Americans have machine guns and big artillery pieces that they drive around with it in the back of their trucks. At this point I knew I lost. You can't win an argument with a retard. I told him that machine guns were banned in in the US in 1986 and he brought up sandy hook. He is now almost yelling and trying to convince me that if machine guns were actually banned then all those little kids would be alive today. At this point he kept running his hand over his head through his hair and was physically getting very agitated. I just walked away from him before he hit me or something. This was at work. On a military base in an office with cubicles while people were watching.

I actually felt embarrassed to have been involved in it.

You know..... I think he has some very good points. The democratic party should focus their efforts to keep machine guns and artillery pieces of of the hands of deranged criminals. They should go after hand grenades, rocket launchers and explosives, I heard you can get those at gun shows. They should probably make it illegal to have sort barreled rifles or shotguns to because those can be concealed on the person and could be used to commit crimes. Of course anyone who owns a machine gun should be able to keep it if they register it. This would cut down on crime and prevent another Sandy hook or San bernadino. Of course semi auto and standard capacity magazines, being in common use should be protected.

I think it's time us gun owners work with democrats to pass common sense legislation. Registration for machine guns and no hand grenades or rocket launchers at gun shows. Maybe require a background check for silencers.

I would submit that the person you were describing has mental issues and needs professional help. Just saying.

So long as I can still get small thermonuclear materials through mail order, I would agree with you. I don't want them to ban that. Have you tried fishing using just regular, non-fissionable materials? Not quite as effective as small thermonuclear lures. Nope. Not even close.

This got me thinking, most liberals I know are very dumb and have no idea what the current law is, I wonder if we could pull a fast one and remove nfa items from the "antiquated prohibition era 1934 that let's anyone get a machine gun" to a new "gun control act of 2016" where the is only a nics check and $15 administrative fee that goes to some liberal pet inner city cause

It's hard to argue with someone totally devoid of facts. Machine guns aren't defacto banned except new manufacture for civilians since 1986, but no legally registered MG's have ever been used in a crime except I believe by a police officer who owned one. s The perception "assault weapons" are machineguns is perpetuated by the media and antigun assholes. Sadly a lot of people who don't own a gun or some fudds are totally ignorant, think you can buy machineguns at your local gun store like your idiot coworker......

That was my point exactly. We could probably "cave in" to a bi-partisan bill that bans things already banned or that don't exist. or even move NFA to a more modern bill where there is only a NICS check required.

Your cuck detector should have been going full scale before you engaged. No point in it.
