    Need a threaded barrel model, and get rid of the magazine disconnect. My 22/45 had the magazine disconnect, thankfully the mk2 match trigger swap, got rid of that feature.

    I've got a KMK-512 (5-1/2 inch bull barrel all stainless MK-II) and the takedown / assembly never gave me any trouble. All you need to know is the "trick" to lining up the big pin and it slides right in.

    I'd never want a pistol with a magazine disconnect (at least one that I couldn't disable).
