What a horrible idea. S&W is one of the oldest names in American manufacturing prowess, & not in just the firearms industry either.

In the PC play book....all history is dead....it must be rewritten...
Guess I'll be happy with my old S&W's.

Nothing screams stupidity like taking one of the most iconic names of all time and changing it for the sake of change.

Bad Move! They took the most Beloved Pistol Round of all Time! .9mm(No not that damn .45!) and put it into a S&W Model 10 K Frame with the large beautiful Target Grips, with the Cutout on the left side, and 3 Inch Heavy Barrel with a special Ejector in the Cylinder, for the beloved .9mm Para. Rounds, and called it the Model 547, of 1982. Beautiful Revolver, but only in 3 Inch with large Target Grips only! Still highly sought after to this Day, wish I still had mine! Made for the I.D.F. who copied it on their own! Being a lover of the .9mm, and the Walther P.88 Pistol. This is the finest, and only Revolver I could only ever consider to own! Beautiful in every way, but only in the 3 Inch, K Frame, and with the large Wood Target Grips, with cutout at the Top of the left Grip. Finest S&W I will ever see in my Lifetime! Paul

The guns will all be a part of the Smith & Wesson family of products. The name change is for the parent company.

    S&W ain't that dumb, y'all.
