This is all flash and pandering. 411 signatories are individuals. Silicon valley is filled with ultraliberals and there are literally hundreds of thousands of Tech workers. Silicon Valley itself has about 4 Million inhabitants (in the regions generally recognized as being Silicon Valley and where the tech giants are housed).

I know CEOs of multiple IT companies who would be happy to do this work. All of these CEOs have one thing in common - they don't bid work based on a show of hands from their employees. Things may be different on the West Coast, but I doubt it.
