Watching Goodfellows for the first time.

Damn. What a great flick. It was always one of those movies I would catch twenty minutes in.

    "Goodfellows"?
    Really?
This is just my opinion and it's entirely correct.

It's awesome. By the end of the movie I was talking differently. If there's a better mob movie, I'd sure like someone to recommend.

One of the top 3 of all time. Too bad Deniro is in it.

Yup. DeNiro is proof you can have acting talent ... and still be a fucking moron.

"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

I saw Gotti. Man, seeing him in the cell wearing orange and pulling the toothbrush and soap out of the paper bag and him knowing this was all he would ever have again. It would suck to die in prison (or live). The life of crime is not for me. But there is something about the mob that always fascinated me.

Rome morphed into the kleptocracy the modern day mob is based upon, it makes for interesting reading. Rome got protection money from pretty much the entire classic world at the time.
