Recommended: In the Deep!
I finally got ahold of a copy of the August Release of In the Deep. It is a hard Movie to find. Set in Mexico, 2 Sisters, Mandy Moore, Clare Holt, and also starring Matthew Modine. Go out on a Boat for a Dive in a Shark Cage. They are surrounded by 2 Great White's. The Boat and the Crew appear 3rd. Rate, as we all know Mexico is, and will forever be! The go down in the Cage, and the Cable Breaks. Not surprised both the Cage and the Boat have Rust on them. They sink to the bottom. One of the Crew tries to get a Cable to the Cage, and he get eaten. They keep telling the Girls by Radio the Mexican Coast Guard is on the Way! They are on the way for the rest of the Movie, till the end. They are running out of Air! I give Mandy Moore's Role credit for swimming in the Open, You would never get me out of the Cage, If I ran out of Air, I would die down there, if they never got to me. I get so tired of Divers here in Florida, telling me it is rare to get Attacked by a Shark, We had a Surfer killed by a Great White at Bathtub Beach in Jensen Beach just North of me 3 Years ago. I told one of my Fellow Posters on the Walther Forums who is a Diver for St. Lucie County, What would you do in the Open Ocean Miles from Shore, and 100 Feet down When a Shark starts to take you apart? He did not really answer me. The Shark own the Ocean! Period! This is the 3rd Great White Shark Movie, I have seen that was really well made. Australia's Movie the Reef, The Shallows from last Year, and this one. Mandy Moore was excellent in her Role! She played a believable Big Sister to Clare Holt. Only one survived. Well done Movie. I will NEVER have a Divers Card in my Lifetime! or go to Mexico! Strongly recommend it, if you can find it. Paul
