I bought one in 9mm the other year. It's a nice, solid shooter but won't feed anything but FMJ due to the design of the chamber indicator.

well the genius who originally owned it put the sear in backwards, just like you can in a 1911.

Took glocks and jennings' to the range today.

Here we see the g30 and that lovely coating of soot .45's seem to get when they're shot a lot.

And of course the little chrome turds, jam every round when dry, run like a top when soaked in wd-40

Here's something I didn't expect, they had a pallet set up as a target holder, so I shot at one of the cross pieces to see how the 10mm went through wood and ended up catching the bullet on a nail

It bend the nail into an "S" shape, and nearly split the bullet in two.

That bullet was loaded with around 7 grains of unique, so probably around 1,100 fps

i think they chose the Glock 40 to be a 10mm on purpose.

Ive posted some or most of these before at one time or another but I still like them and hope you will too. I'll start off with some Milsurps for all you Crufflers in the crowd.

Returned SVT 40 that I stripped the stock on. It's long gone, kinda wish I'd kept now.

A MAS 36 LG48 missing the GL sight. I believe this was a field level conversion possibly Algeria. Don't see many of these. The 36/51 is much more common.

Large Marge, not a true Milsurps. More a reproduction. Other than my wife, Marge is the other woman in my life.

You and I sure do have good taste in guns

The last mags I got were $15, new in the wrap. I think I have 20 or 22 at last count so I'm probably good on mags.

That would be nice. I'm considering another one too. The Colt limited edition 1918 that's all blued. I forget who has them but they didn't do that many. I think they want $6K +\-

If this proposal Trump has to take suppressors off the NFA comes to pass I was thinking about getting one for Marge. The muzzle is already threaded. Wonder what a good subsonic load would be that would be as quiet as possible and still cycle her action?

Polish M-44. Don't see these all that much any more. This one was a birthday present from my wife. It was my first Milsurp and my first C&R firearm.

Nice a Polish M44. Was it in the mummy wrap when you got it?

No, just a little greasy with cosmoline. The one scratch on the receiver was there when I got it otherwise it's pretty much mint. IIRC I showed my wife a CDNN ad in Shotgun News for this rifle. Can't recall for sure but I believe it was less than $100 at the time. I don't recall seeing another one on this board or at any of our WV shoots though I imagine at least one of our members has one. They seem kinda scarce but I didn't think they were rare.

Im thinking I've had it close to 20 years.
