    Thumbs up K frame snubby

Ran across a S&W model 15-3 the other day, LNIB, blued with 2" barrel. I've had a couple of model 10 snubbies but never one with adjustable sights in this frame size. It really looks pretty bitchin. I found it on Saturday but had a couple of other things in the works so I didn't pick it up. Asking price is $525 but I imagine I could get it for $475-$500.

Don't really need it but as you all know I kinda got a thing for S&W revolvers. While this one isn't "rare" you don't see that many 2" Combat Masterpieces. I'd rate it at 98% overall. Any members here a fan of the Model 15?

If all goes well I'll pick it up on Wednesday.

The price seems good but I am not sure about the utility of adjustable sights on a snub nose revolver. That said, I know you collect S&Ws so I don't think you can go wrong.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

Hopefully Photobucket will get its issues sorted out by Wednesday. I can't get anything to upload at all.

    Update:

Decided to hold of on the 15-3. We've got a gunshot this weekend so thought I'd wait and see if I run across something there. This Xmas bonus has been burning a hole in my pocket for weeks (company always gives us a couple thousand for Xmas) so a few more days wont kill me.

I really need to get a focus on my collecting. Anything S&W is just too broad. I've tried to focus on revolvers only but that isn't exactly limiting in scope and I've been pretty good with only a couple of S&W auto purchases but then figure in a Colt here and there I still can't stay on track. I've even thought about just focusing on one caliber but that dog won't hunt either.

Thank God there aren't many new C&R's coming in. I don't even want a go down that road again. Well ok, I kinda do but I don't think my wife will be as understanding as she was back in the day.
