    The New ATF Form 4473

Beginning January 16, FFL holders must use the new 4473. It's up to six pages now. This is quite the growth from the old, simple yellow forms of the late 90s and early 2000s. It can be viewed in PDF form by clinking this link:

I think they are taking a play from the IRS book on how to take something that should be very simple and make it almost impossible to fill out without making a mistake.

How do we fight ATF and their continued assault on our rights in the name of safety?

    WTF is this shit?
    32. Check if this transaction is to facilitate a private party transfer.
Since when does a FTF need a 4473?

I think all q 32 means is both are cool and he can sell. Washington State comes to mind.
This is just keeping up with the states crap. But no less an interference. This is what
    I think.

Actually the form hasn't grown much. But there are some who REALLY like to regulate.

In several states, like California, we must transfer all firearms through a dealer, even a private party transfer. This has been the case since 1990 in California for everything except C&R Long guns and then everything after 2014. That's why Bullshit like 'the Gun Show Loophole' is such a LIE because in big markets like California, we haven't had any such 'loophole' in 26 fucking years and the fact that 'other states' that don't have it have a LOWER violent crime rate, disproves to any normal thinking person that criminals don't buy their guns from dealers or gunshows, but out of the trunks of cars....
