Looking at buying this Snider Enfield but need help *pics*

I am trying to figure out if this Snider is correct or if it is a bubba hack job. It is the cut back one in the middle. I hope someone here is knowledgable with these. I see a brass cap on the fore end. I don't recognize this in ANY pics online. Something about it is off. Guy is asking $275 Canadian. He says it has good rifling. It is a semi local sale. He is on the other side of the province but will be coming in town on business in a month to deliver it if i tell him i want to take it.

I'm not an expert on the Enfield but it sure looks like an ancient sporterizing job. The wood transition to the brass nosecap does not look like anything that would of been done out of the factory. It looks like the stock was cut off and the nosecap moved back and the stock cut down to try and blend it in.

None that I've found show a brass end cap on the forearm, so I'm guessing that's a "modern" bubba-fication.

Yep, it's been bubba'd. Here's what it should look like:

There is a model with a brass cap but it's a two-band.
