    How are these legal

How are these legal to sell?

I thought receivers had to be torch cut in 3 specific places, especially through certain pin holes?

Smart, creative people like myself with a large vice could easily "rack" that back to mostly square and build up a parts kit.
It wouldn't be pretty but it would possibly be functional.

Because like the debate over the vz 58 here in Canada. Just because you can make it full auto... Doesn't mean it should be banned. There is already a law being broken if they repair that receiver. Plus a guy can make a stem receiver out of a length of pipe. .. Still illegal.

long as the center support is removed and they're crushed nearly flat the atf allows it. you're not doing anything with them really other than using the fronts/backs for templates.

it's not even mind boggling anymore when it comes to them.

receivers smashed like these have been sold for years. it's ust another way for a place to make a $ from a hunk of scrap metal.

If you look around you can find saw cut milled receivers. Last I saw was about 280.
