My new $15 NIB phone... for those that link simple but effective

It cost me $15 total. Shipped free of charge from China. I have gone a day with it in my pocket. It texts, makes and receives calls, the battery lasts a long time and charges fast. I will give you another update in a month on how it works. But for now i am amazed. Its so small you cant even feel it in your jeans hip pocket. The speaker is also nice and loud. I was able to hold a conversation no problem standing on the side of a busy street today. Audio report on the other end was that I was crystal clear. It also holds 500 contacts in its phone book.= and has bluetooth. I have not tested the bluetooth yet. I will pair it to my truck later on and see how that goes.

Just a warning about Fasttech is expect a 30day arrival time. I have bought many items from this place and don't have any problems with them.

It was cool when phones got smaller and more handy. The best I had was a Samsung in 2008 that was thin, light, had a front and back camera and which I could read email (text) on. The battery lasted a long time.

It's been downhill since 2010 as they just got bigger and heavier.

The secret reason why the phones keep getting bigger is ONLY so they can have a battery that lasts longer.

    Larger phone, larger battery.

I refuse to get a smart phone as well. They are too damn big and have too much useless crap. I have a little Blackberry-style dumb phone I paid $29 for on Amazon and am content. That little bugger you got there looks handy. Also different.

Interesting. I take it that it only works through a wireless modem?

I checked them out of that web page I mentioned. They are a "thing". Some have a slightly larger color screen. This is a NEW thing.
