Obamacare I have done what I can

I have called and e-mailed my congressman both senators and the WH.
REPEAL repeal repeal is what I said in the strongest civil language I would use.

Why do these numb nuts never understand PLAIN FUCKING LANGUAGE? Repeal!!!!!!!
While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

The Republicans never intended to repeal Obamacare. It was all talk to bring heat on Obama. Now we will get some symbolic bullshit, i.e., a replacement Obamacare, called something else, that may be worse than Obamacare. We will then hear how the Republicans have saved healthcare.

Given the makeup of the Senate, how are they supposed to repeal it?

I get the impression that Paul Ryan wants to derail Trump by shoving through a bill that is nothing more than obamacare-ryan. Is he really pushing to do away with the federal individual mandate by making it an insurance company mandate, so that if you decide you don't want their pile of stink, instead of the IRS after you it will be Aetna, United Healthcare, etc?

i'm still waiting for all the great benefits obama-roberts care was to be. like seeing my premiums go down "as much as $2500 a year". if they can't repeal it, just let it implode and defund it.

The Republicans sent an Obamacare repeal bill to Obama (knowing he would veto it) yet now they won't send the exact same bill to Trump to sign. To me this is clear proof the Republican leadership does not and never did want to repeal Obamacare.

And now many gutless Republicans are spooked on this issue by the fact town hall meeting protests.

That is not progress. I want this bill repealed as much as anyone but no one has yet explained to me with the current makeup of the Senate repeal is possible.

The Republicans never passed a "repeal" bill and sent it to Obama. They passed a similar bill to the one they are pushing now (granted, that bill did go farther than this bill) that defunded as much as they could under the rules of reconciliation. This meant that the Senate did not need 60 votes to bring it to the floor, they only needed 51 votes to pass it. This was reported as a "repeal" bill, but it was not. As with this bill, though, the result of the bill would be to gut the ACA making it essentially useless but the law would still exist. In order to completely get rid of the law we need to get at least 8 more Republicans in the Senate to be able to over ride the Democrat filibuster that is sure to accompany any Republican proposed actions.

It is very much progress. Keep up with this site and listen to him if you can.

http://theresurgent.com/ There is a whole host of things going on and the rinos in the gop house are trying to ram rod this bill through
and they are to blame for the delay not the freedom caucus.

And mike lee in the senate today asked if the regs in obamacare can be tied to the budget and was told yes. this means that
you only need reconciliation vote in the senate to repeal the regs. VERY VERY good day. And I also BELIEVE the President is on our side. He knows
all the swinging dicks he is looking at ran TO REPEAL AND REPLACE this fucked up mess and I do not think he will let them slide.

That just maybe me but almost everything that has been said the last 10 years is on the table..

They can't even do a simple thing like repealing that unconstitutional, unless it's a tax, individual mandate. They removed the feds from the tax thing but then added that if you don't want insurance, you pay a penalty to an insurance company. Sorry Donny-boy, the feds can't force someone to pay a private company by federal or any government mandate.

We have such jerks running the country!!!

I am not sure who exactly you are calling jerks but I tend to agree. But I would rather have these kind of jerks than the
ones that walk lock step, arm in arm, never dissenting from what they are told to do. Name me one democrat that will
go against their party on an important vote. Can you? You know why? Because they are scared of the party and the people
they have grown(protected classes) over the last 40 years.

Well there is one (and probably only one) Republican who really wants to repeal Obamacare.

They talked a lot of shit but it was only talk. It was easy to talk shit until Trump won and it became time to put up or shut up. Now they are backpedaling at Lance Armstrong speed.

My Congressman is as conservative as you can get (or so I thought) but at his last telecon with the voters I detected a slight quiver in his voice when fielding questions about repealing Obamacare.
