IMO Daemon734 isn't here any more because of Swampdragon. After Swampy retired from the military he (I think) started drinking heavily. He started harassing many members and his plug got perma yanked. It was very damaging as he was a moderator at the time.

I knew he melted down, but couldn't remember all the particulars. Thanks.

I still drop in from time to time. The last couple years I have been heavy involved with my Utapao air base alumni, the guys that were stationed there during the Vietnam war. Now that the golden age of C&R is over and the prices have gone out of sight for most, I just haven't spent much time in the gun safe. Now and then I make a score at Cabela's when they misprice something. The gun shows have no deals anymore. All the pawn shops use gunbroker to sell their guns so that honey hole has dried up or are priced out of sight. I don't shoot as much as I have glaucoma that has really hammered my left eye. So far the right eye is ok. With cataract surgery and lens replacement, I no longer can shoot iron sights. Optical sights are the only thing that works for me now. chris
