I have a Ruger P95 that does that. Need a full face shield when plinking with it. Wish I knew why because the ejector looks like it should eject to the right.

I could see that as being a little distracting. My 1911 will ejects close to straight up and every once in a while a casing will land on top of my head. Not quite the same as every casing whacking me between the eyes, though!

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

slightly change the angles on the ejector/extractor.

most times if you're getting it in the face the ejector is a tad too short.

do they have a considerable break-in period??

200-500 rounds before i'd do anything or swap anything out.

It'st the tactical with the barrel extension, with the Osprey45 can,

I assume. Must be something with the suppressor back-pressure changing

    the slide action.

My standard FNX-45 shoots fine, no brass in the face. But that's the standard

    barrel, with no can attached.
