Post Times Square Terror Attack ?

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/05/18...ports-say.html

Suppose this is like the ones in France? No one has called it an act of terror but traveling the wrong way at high speed and turning onto the sidewalk makes it at least a possibility. Only other things I would consider is a medical crisis for the driver or vehicle malfunction? Thirteen victims reported by FDNY.

Could be a car chase, a heart attack, a mentally ill guy or just a drunk driver. We'll see when the details come out.

A 26yr old male, my guess a follower of old mo.

I considered DUI but damn it's early in the day and they said the car went 7 blocks the wrong way, apparently without hitting anything then went up on the sidewalk. You'd think if the guy was drunk he'd have never made it all that way? Time will tell. Just seemed a lot like the incident in London the other day.

Probably never will unless some source outside the machine can shine light on things.

So far, they really haven't released many details other than the driver had two previous DUI's.

You have to remember, it takes time to come up with a political narrative from scratch. As soon as they get the narrative, they'll release the facts that fit it.

Navy vet and a U.S. citizen and as noted above two prior DUI convictions. Seems like this being another DUI would be plausible.

Seems like they are implying some PTSD from his Navy service as a reason for his drinking though his first DUI was 3 years before he enlisted when he was maybe 17 so not sure I'd hang my hat on that excuse.

It looks as if someone tried to just that before the second photo was taken....

I guess I'd be mad at the world, too, if my Mexican mom had shacked up with some black guy. He looks like a mix of some kind.....

I wish the cops had granted his wish to die. Now taxpayers will have to provide a lawyer, then a psychiatrist and a social worker probably with 3 hots n a cot for the next decade or two. Cheaper to blow his head off.

Local TV news intimate that he may have been high on PCP.
