Hell I didn't torque that spanner nut. I didn't even more than hand tighten. Tell me why it matters
if it will not move?

Give me a break!! Damn there are thousands of do dad add ons I have to buy first. The DPMS kit is on the way
and I was thinking about buying a single point attachment but 32 inc. shipping was a bit much.

Without a proper spanner wrench to tighten the castle nut eventually it will let the tube and stock assembly turn. Just because it hasn't yet, doesn't mean it will not. There are low cost wrenches, hell a man can make a fairly simple one one out of 3/16" flat metal stock. Most of the commercial ones come with 3 square teeth to engage the slots in the castle nut but really only one is needed. Tool will look like a big Question Mark ? .
Yeah I understand all that and will eventually spec it. But it would have to be really loose
to let the tube turn.
I ain't even put a boolit in it yet.
