You're lucky. I'm not sure what part of the East coast will be able to view it but I've got to find a map of it's projected path to see what I can watch.

The northern edge of the eclipse is just a couple of miles south of here. I am planning on going to Jefferson County MO as the center of totality is just north of Desoto, MO.

Looked at your map JT and my maw in law is right dab in the middle. I'm, w/o going full nuts on stuff, about 70-100
miles ssw of the totality. But maw in law is in for more than 2 minutes!!!

Krupski - unfortunately for you, you won't see anything of this eclipse.
However, there is another one in April 8, 2024, that will be moving from SW to NE coming up from Mexico, across the Missouri "Bootheel", through Southern Illinois and up towards the Great Lakes and Canada. Buffalo is almost on the centerline of totality.
