Will the GOP allow the Hearing Protection act and Concealed Carry Reciprocity to die in committee? I believe the answer is yes they will.
If they do not bring these bills to a vote what will the NRA do? I predict nothing.
What is the strategy of people like us (pro gun lights) to make the Republican party more responsive.
Given the GOP's failure to repeal Obamacare, I believe they will let pro-gun bills die in committee as well. Sadly, the only strategy we have is to defeat the establishment candidates in the primaries; but that is extremely difficult due to the lack of voter participation in the primaries IMO.Originally Posted by jet3534
Hope so. I heard the HPA was folded into another bill called the SHUSH Act. As part of this new bill it would drop the requirement for a form 4473 and the BC and you'd buy a suppressor over the counter just like a muzzle brake, flash hider, weapons light, basically any other accessory you put on a firearm because that's really all it is, an accessory.

+1. Note the way they are now lining up with the Dims to prevent Mueller from being fired by Trump.
It seems it doesn't matter who is making the "rules". Considering that George Bush the first stomped all over our 2nd amendment rights in 1989, I have little faith in anyone that has "Politician" as their employment title.
