Group Wants McDonald’s Employees Fired For Hiding Bacon in Muslim Family’s Sandwiches

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WKRG) — A Muslim civil rights organization is asking management at a McDonald’s located in Decatur, Alabama to identify and fire the staff who allegedly hid pieces of bacon in 14 chicken sandwiches ordered by a Muslim family.

The Alabama chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Alabama) called the franchise today with the request after the family sent them a video taken yesterday, after they each found a small piece of bacon on each sandwich. Eating pork products are strictly prohibited in Islam.

“Based on the evidence in this incident, as well as the unprecedented spike in anti-Muslim bigotry nationwide, we believe this was an intentional act of religious and ethnic bigotry,” said Khaula Hadeed, Executive Director at CAIR-Alabama.

A representative from CAIR-Alabama says they also contacted McDonald’s corporate management in order to put pressure on the franchise to provide surveillance of the incident as well as an apology for the employees’ actions.

“McDonald’s should investigate this incident, identify and terminate the employees responsible, and take proactive steps to satisfy this American family’s concerns, starting with an apology,” Hadeed said.

In July, CAIR-Alabama called on state and federal law enforcement authorities to investigate vandalism targeting a Muslim family as a possible hate crime in Helena, Alabama.

Helena Police Chief Pete Folmar told Al.com that vulgar graphics and racial slurs were spray painted on the vehicles. Folmar added that the police department would not tolerate “such things,” referring to crimes targeting any person based on ethnicity or religion.

So far, neither McDonald’s nor the Decatur-based franchise have responded to the allegations.

I approve of this tactic. Plant IBDs (Improvised Bacon Devices) in unsuspecting places so the muzzies will never know when they will be struck with evil pork products. I also think that as part of the vetting process for immigrants entering the United States, it should be a requirement that prospective immigrants must eat a chunk of bacon while exclaiming, "I love pork products!" (in English) before being allowed to enter.

its funny how seriously they take this pork thing. It is mentioned once in the Koran and they make a huge deal out of it. When on the other hand killing non believers is mentioned a number of times and they (claim) that part isn't to be taken literally.


Brought an incident that happened to me to mind, A number of weeks ago I bought a huge bag of fresh mussels at the supermarket. There was a muslim lady behind me. Wearing the head scarf and traditional clothing. She had a full cart of groceries and i had the one bag of mussels. Anyway i was ahead of her in line and put the mussels on the conveyer belt. It made a wet mark on the black rubber. She noticed it and kept sliding her groceries back every time the belt edged forward she would open the gap wider between my mussels and the things she was buying. It made me think for a while. I didn't realize that shell fish are just as haram as bacon to them.


I am so glad that Trudeau only pretended to bring refugees to Canada. He made a huge display and then only brought a small number in and then he stopped talking about it.

I was reading the other day some applebees in the UK has a slamic issue where the slamics order something and then say it has pork so they want a refund. Over and over again. They eat most of it then complain to management and of course eat free. This was in the same news story about a German fitness club that had a note appear in its window saying nafis not welcome or similar wording, nafis being north africans ie refugees aka mozlom. I bet if they went and looked the video tape would show a zlom taping the note to the window to cause a ruckus.

Is THIS how I should I react every time I get cheese and pickles on my burger when I ask for a burger without them?

Its not like the are allergic, they just choose not to eat bacon. Its not a health issue, it does no physical harm.

Its just as bad as you Maryland area people putting Old Bay Seasoning on your seafood. I never ask for it and it ruins everything, and its put on everything. But I have no advocacy group to sue on my behalf.
