My God did they leave these people to die?

I am usually not shocked by what some can do to others but this has made me sick.

Nothing in the linked article indicates they abandoned the patients. Seems more like a lot of elderly, probably not so healthy people were exposed to the same conditions as millions of other Floridians right now, no power, no A/C, no running and or little potable water and some expired.

Even up here when it gets hot in the summer we occasionally have quite a few elderly deaths from the heat.

Well ok we will see. But it seems strange that a doctor was summoned around 6a and immediately knew
something was wrong. So nobody is even looking at a place that has over 100 of your grandma/pa s ok.

I don't see that in the article you linked? It does say they called around 3am to report a possible heart attack and later for a respiratory issue. It also said the staff was using fans and portable A/C units. Seems pretty clear no one was abandoned.
