Thumbs up I'd like to ask the membership

    For a favor.

I realize not everyone who posts here has an interest in firearms but for those of you who do could you take some time this weekend and perhaps post in one of our many firearms forums and or sub forums? Most of the traffic here is in this GD forum and I was thinking that maybe we could try just this weekend to bring some life back to the site.

Maybe you can comment/update an older C&R post or maybe the Hunting Forum with seasons starting. I really miss the boom times on the site as a whole and the C&R side in particular. Anyway, just thought I'd ask and see if maybe, just briefly, we can revive some old times and memories. I found a DVD the other day that Paul made with tons and tons of photos from one or maybe several of the WV C&R shoots. I'll see if I can figure out how to post and or link some of the group photos off that DVD.

I'll post pics of all my 'salt rifles that are illegal in New York (and which, of course, I don't have any longer).

I would love to see some of those pictures! A few Sundays ago I picked up a MN 39 and a Sweedish mauser at the Pence Springs flea market for 120.00 Each. If only photobucket would let me post pictures!

    Also..

Stuff like this.. its best to send a PM to myself or "Guns Network Staff". I dont log into GN unless there is a problem. I just look at logs, monitor the server, make sure you guys can get to it. Unless someone complains and sends me a PM, I dont know of any issues like this one.

So much was lost in the BIY section, Sad that happened. Barrel ban pretty much killed it off after the loss of all that info too. I had a writeup on building a M1919 in the C+R section, all got lost I did locate most of the pics, so when I get a chance I'll someday get around to filling that thread up.

Yeah it seemed a littl off for what you were saying. But I understood about the PM from now on... Thank you Mr Admin...

Sounds good until someone asks a question about an ak and there is nothing but crickets.

Guess we should just shut down everything on the board except general discussion? Didn't think asking for some gun posts on a supposed gun website would ever be necessary. Just though I'd give it a try. Wish others had too.

I got some posts on the .380 thread I started and I saw some other threads revived or started just about guns. So there was some support.
