I didn't see him today. I kept far away! Interesting to see the behind the scenes of what goes on for sure. Plus some of the "hired help" are really friendly, while others are strictly business.

Some important people in town today. And yesterday. There was a meeting, and really not supposed to talk about it on social media...But there was some protests in WV!

Not on a regular basis but if he was working that day the POTUS might have dined on items prepared by El Duce. I've had the pleasure of partaking of El Duce's culinary abilities both casually as well as formally and I can say with all honesty and great delight in remembrance that he is very accomplished in his craft. In almost 58 years I have yet to have tasted anything better.

Thanks Richard. I can't say directly that I did, but if he did eat there. Good chance that I had a part in it. Though no longer at my old digs. My responsibilities have changed. It was an interesting few days for sure. Can't really go into details. But the guard was definitely up.

That is cool El Duce. You have mentioned security twice so if you tell what you cooked them they kill you?

No, but some of the guys were really nice. Some you didn't even want to look at. Years ago, I helped put some food together for W. The SS guys watched our EVERY move.

We really didn't have any personal contact with anyone. Even when "important" people were in. Lock down. For the most part I stayed in my area. But if you knew the place, the layout well, there were holes. But, even if you did get through a hole. You wouldn't have gotten very far.

Call me paranoid, but we had a meeting a few days before, and were told once again. Not to post details on social media.

This wasn't our first run in with Important political people. Some things this time around were surprising. Others not. Preparation started months ago. We also live in the flight path towards the airport. Neat to see some of the aircraft that came in.

I have to wonder, because I had my C&R for 9 years, and own three machine guns. How much of a background check there was. Rumors were that more than a few folks were told to take the week off.

Can't really say about the B/G check but they know who you are. The fact you have been around for some time
will make some of them a little less suspicious?

But never the less it is cool and just do not say anything, wait a few years and you can write threads about it

On my list of things to do in life. Is to write a book about my experiences in the culinary field. Probably never happen, but some of the stories I could tell!

Hey man you can NEVER tell about books. Start writing things now and fine tune them later..

Can I have fries on the side? Good luck to ya.

I have over ten years of prep notes, schedules, menus. Bags of stuff that I have saved. For that one day. Maybe in retirement.
