Does look like a Romanian stock. That Chinese underfolder bayo front sight looks like it is welded on, and the gas block held on by roll pins.

What this might be is a Pre Ban Maadi AK rifle that was BUTCHERED by a Bubba. I noticed that the ChiCom pig sticker front sight assembly seems spot welded on, as well as the Armi Sport AP-15 Tri prong flash hider. I'm sure you guys can pick out ALL the things wrong with it. Doesn't make the receiver NOT a Maadi. I can't see close enough to verify.

None of the furniture is correct for a Maadi. But I think he's selling what started off as a Pre Ban Maadi Rifle, with the intention that someone might be able to restore to its 'correct' configuration.

I was going to say the same thing. My SAR-1 looks just like that, except mine has the correct AKM front sight post and a "slant brake", not something pulled off an AK and pounded on with a hammer and then held in place with an AR-15 type duckbill flash hider and globs of JB-Weld.

Doesn't even have a Russian scope mount.

Sheesh what a piece of junk.

Did you read what I wrote? if the RECEIVER is pre ban Maadi then the owner can do anything with the gun and not be in violation of Sec 922R. I assume that the receiver is a preban Maadi that was 'modified by Bubba'. Thus all one has to do is take all that inaccurate shit off and restore it to its ORIGINAL configuration.
