Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone. According to this article he "may" leave after the 2018 mid term elections. If there was some sexual misconduct charge forthcoming I'd expect him to be leaving sooner than November of next year.

I believe Ryan will have been in Congress for 20 years when his current term is up next year. Ryan is 47 years old. To get a pension you have to be 50 and have served at least 20 years, 62 and have served at least 5 years or serve 25 years. I don't believe anyone gets anything until they are 62. Depending on when they entered Congress they can get from $52,500 to $85,000 per year retirement, approximately so not everyone who serves gets a pension.
