I don't know that he ever said that.

Supposedly Karl Marx did have recurrent painful boils on his ass though, always in great pain even while sitting down -- which could explain why he was so grumpy and miserably all the time, and had a such a negative world-view.

Yep, and they are painful as hell.

I can't imagine being in excruciating pain all the time like that. That would definitely affect quality of life.

No one should have to suffer, being in pain all the time... I hope you are able to get help for your own issues as well, my friend.

    So may we all.

Your man KM was 100% wrong on virtually everything he predicted.

Now, in the year 2018... there are no viable economies in the world which embrace his special brand of stupidity. Unless you want to claim Cuba, Venezuela, & Laos as shining Beacons of Communism.

As far as a return to feudalism...you've been watching too much Game of Thrones.

The fed's owners love of profit is diametrically opposed to their loathing of Trump and patriotic Americans in general. If they continue the ponzi scheme they increase their profits, if they collapse their ponzi scheme they will try to blame Trump for their own choices - and the sheeple will fall for it.I wonder if he put gold sacks in charge of the bag so they'd be to blame when the feds pull the plug on the economy, ie they stop the plunge protection teams from protecting against plunges as well as increase interest rates and selling of their t bills.

Credit Card, Student And Auto Debt All Hit Record Highs In December
While we reported last month that in November US credit card debt had just surpassed the previous all time high hit in July 2008 just before all hell broke loose when Lehman filed for bankruptcy two months later, there was a slight chance that in December this number had declined after the record surge in November credit-funded spending (which was just revised from $28BN to $31BN).

China's HNA Starts Liquidating Billions In US Real Estate
Yesterday we explained that one of the reasons why Deutsche Bank stock had tumbled to the lowest level since 2016, is because its top shareholder, China's largest and most distressed conglomerate, HNA Group, had reportedly defaulted on a wealth management product sold on Phoenix Finance according to the local press reports. While HNA's critical liquidity troubles have been duly noted here and have been widely known, the fact that the company was on the verge (or beyond) of default, and would be forced to liquidate its assets imminently, is what sparked the selling cascade in Deutsche Bank shares, as investors scrambled to frontrun the selling of the German lender which is one of HNA's biggest investments.
Now, one day later, we find that while Deutsche Bank may be spared for now - if not for long - billions in US real estate will not be, and in a scene right out of the Wall Street movie Margin Call, HNA has decided to be if not smartest, nor cheat, it will be the first, and has begun its firesale of US properties.
According to Bloomberg, HNA is marketing commercial properties in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Minneapolis valued at a total of $4 billion as the indebted Chinese conglomerate seeks to stave off a liquidity crunch. The marketing document lists six office properties that are 94.1% leased, and one New York hotel, the 165-room Cassa, with a total value of $4 billion.
One of the flagship properties on the block is the landmark office building at 245 Park Ave., according to a marketing document seen by Bloomberg.

The stock market is plunging: Here’s what advisers say you should do

There is suddenly stock-market carnage on Wall Street, shattering what has been a protracted period of low volatility and a mostly uninterrupted climb toward the moon for stocks.

There was no clear-cut catalyst for the declines, which have come as the long-running rally fueled by improving corporate earnings and strengthening U.S. and global economic growth accelerated in January.

So, as the U.S. stock market encounters its first genuine bout of turbulence in years, with the Cboe Volatility Index VIX, +20.66% notching its largest percentage surge in history and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -4.15% and the S&P 500 index SPX, -3.75% entering into correction territory on Thursday, defined as a drop of at least 10% from a recent peak, here’s what some experts recommend:

Think we're going to start seeing folks jumping off buildings again pretty soon like they did in 1929?

Please Please Please show us how that is done

I am not sure you are old enough to have ever been in a building, over 3 stories, that you could open windows.
    Not The OS.

And if you are not playing in their game. It doesn't matter.

In the pic the guy is asking YRU 001. He is playing their game.

    True, true.

They've probably made some "changes" to most of those buildings on Wall Street... heavily restrict even access to the roof, just to not give anyone any ideas.

At least I haven't seen any "suicide nets" around the perimeters like they have on so many of those Chinese sweatshop factories...

You do not strike me as the kind to worry about sweat shops any where. Hell I have used 200 gallons of water
just to try and stop the pain. Oh and I threw out enough fresh food the other night to feed 4.

I don't know if he was a molester, but several of his children and their spouses killed themselves, and he and his family lived on handouts all their lives. He knew several languages and could have made a fortune as a translator, but no he'd rather lay about whining about das kapitol than making any capital. What a hero to emulate!

He was a philosopher, not a materialist.

Philosophers have never concerned themselves much with attaining material wealth in this world.

Besides, didn't Jesus say it is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven?
