Damn Moe, I didn't expect it to look that cool. You're making great progress.
Do you live in a mag restricted state? Or just using small capacity for compactness?
Looks like it's gonna be a hand full.

I'm in PA, so I'm free with mags.
I think a 30rd would be overkill, so I need to pickup a few 20's

The majority are built on matching # NDS 1 receivers. 3 of the 4 unfinished ones have Ironwood design stock sets. Not sure how the remaining one will turn out.

A closer look at the under folders here.

I see you're going for the early Viet Nam era version. I see a lot of guys are going to this for the retro look.
    What receivers are you using?
    I'm using NoDak Spuds.
This one is on a NDS-601 lower.
I have since picked up a triangular charging handle and am getting the courage up to attemp a faux finish on the handguards.
Did you get into the $69 AMD kits too?

I have not posted in over a year, and think this might be my first since its back up.. I kinda ran into a Jeep build that sucked all my AK money away. However these are my first 2 builds. Or should I say attempts at builds.

One is from a flat receiver that someone folded for me. Second is the NoDac spud.
The flat I used rivets and with the spud I wanted a "Frankenrifle" It was Halloween lats year when I started it. so I used hardened bolts. I am having some issues with Frankenrifle so it will have to be redone soon. It wants to act like a single shot.
    Enough rambling

    Overkill??? That's not overkill...This is!

    Or this.

Not that I would ever shoot at using these mags cause the drum mag empty or the long mag half full weighs more than the pistol.

I'd be worried the BATF would consider the mag as a forward grip.

Damn Kman... That red wood is awesome!!! What's it finished with? Is that an SKS bayo? We're installing a laser at work within the next month or 2 and I can't wait! I've been cutting all of my receiver flats on a waterjet for about 4-5 years now but the laser will be the $hit!!!

BTW, I never did receive the dxf files that you tried to send me for the hammer and sickle a while back...
