    Rock River Arms lower receiver

I have been toying with the idea of putting together an AR. Is a Rock River Arms lower receiver a reasonable starting point? I am completely ignorant regarding this, hence my request for information. Thanks.

I am putting together my very first AR as well. I've spent the last 3 months reading everything I can find on building ARs, toys for AR's ect. I'm pretty OCD on that kinda stuff.

A RRA lower will be just fine.

The last three ARs that I have built were done using a Rock River lower. 'nuff said!

Lowers are lowers. The only thing you might consider is resale value. Some people buy based on the etchings on the side.

One minor quibble. Forged lowers are forged lowers. For the most part any forged lower is going to be a good platform. That being said, RRA is good to go!
