I am curious about it as well...
Here's to pussy and gunpowder. One to live for, the other to die by.....Goddamn though, I do love the smell of 'em both !!!
I have a boner for it, but I doubt we'll be seeing them in the near future
They get into the ARX a little over halfway through this vid.

Looks very Buck-Rogers. Too much plastic I'm betting. Buttstroke someone with it and probably half of it breaks off.
From what I've heard/read they weren't going to go with a release until they had them in the warehouse, ready to ship which they supposedly are. The barrels can't be imported from Italy so that part is being made at the Maryland factory. The one tested in the G&A article was supposed to be a production, not pre-production piece. IIRC correctly they are going to come out first with a non-chrome lined 1:7 barrrel with chrome lined and different twist rates and well as .308 and .300 BLK conversion kits. Conversions are supposed to retail under $500.
The G&A article said you can swap the barrel almost as fast as on an AUG and you can change which side it ejects from in an instant by just poking a small tool or bullet type into a hole on the receiver. Seems like if you know before hand that you'll have to engage from the left side you can instantly switch ejection sides so you can shoot left handed and put the right side of the receiver right up against the wall. Seems like some pretty interesting features.
Don't know how rugged it is however Italy has been using the same rifle, select fire with shorter barrel, in Afghanistan for 4-5 years and it seems to have held up well.

Check the video I posted and you'll see the Berreta rep changing out barrels and swapping charging handle sides on camera. Its super fast.

So far the rifle is vaporware. Beretta has a habit of showing off really nice stuff that doesn't hit the stores for years after they are first shown. I don't doubt it will one day be available, but knowing Beretta I am not going to hold my breath.
As a Beretta fan, I can't wait to get my Hoppe's stained hands on one!
This is supposed to be unveiled, so to speak at this week's NRA show. Hope it comes to be.

I saw that last year, it's what got me excited about the rifle (and there are very few new guns that get me excited). When I saw how the bolt carrier/piston was set up I thought "well that's a damn good idea"
I'm never one to rush out and buy the latest and greatest, but the more I think about it the more I'm inclined to grab an ARX if I have the chance.
Finally took the time to watch the video. I like some of the features to be sure. Funny how once metal weapons are turning into polymer and ceramic.
Beretta finally has it listed on their website. Funny that it wasn't there Thursday. Maybe there is hope at seeing on in person. Now if they only keep the price something that we mere peons can afford.
It will probably be $1,999.99 MSRP.
The rifle was at the NRA annual in Houston. I believe they stated it would be out in 90 days. easy barrel change was of interest. Quick change from left to right was need but my rifles don't need to change. feature may be subject to foreign matter fouling but at a range that is of little concern, on a battle field......
Taurus' site is funny and changes constantly.
dont matter, I'm on the list for a Tavor.
