Very interesting shock waves/bubble collapse! Thanks for the post. I used to shoot in my backyard in the winter. I would plow snow in front of my dirt backstop, when the snow melted all the bullets would be laying on the ground in front of the backstop. Packed snow will stop a bullet in a couple/few feet, this confirms what I thought, water will stop a bullet in a little more.
