    Is Everyone in Titan's Path Ready?

    It seems as if winter isn't over with yet. The Mid-Atlantic Coast is supposed to be in Titan's path and there are predictions of anywhere from 2-12 inches of snow coming, plus some major ice forming over the nighttime hours as the temps drop.

    I guess I'm about as ready as I can be. I'll be staying at dad's tonight since he is under Hospice care (he's 92 and is not quite so steady on his feet anymore).

    It's supposed to start as rain later this evening, then switch over to sleet, then freeze, then major snowfall on top of that tomorrow. I have an idea there's going to be a lot of power outages.

    I hope everyone that's going to be affected is ready.

    we were supposed to get anything from 6-16" .. all we wound up getting was a dusting, seems things went south.

    I just measured 1.75 but the talking heads are assuring us we will get another 5 to 8 more. In this case I don't mind when the weather people under-predict a snowfall.

    Well it is Sunday afternoon at 2:50 PM eastern time. The sun is out, there is a gentle breeze. It feels to be 70°F out and we have the windows open with the breeze blowing through the open windows. It couldn't get any nicer today, just beautiful out here east of Atlanta, GA.

    Oh. OK. I guess it makes them seem more "extreme" if they name it. I don't watch any local TV or news casts as they are bad for the soul. Always negative.. We are dealing with Hercules. ( cloudy skies and cold wind ) lol.

    They started naming them so they'd sound scarier when they blamed the storms on BUSH, and anyone not driving a gay Prius.
